The eShores idea
15 years ago, the travel industry was drastically changing. While the only option in the past had been to visit the high street travel agency to book a holiday, people suddenly had the option to book their holiday online, in the comfort of their own home.
eShores directors saw this shift in consumer behaviour as a positive change, however we also saw potential problems and issues that could arise. By booking different aspects of a holiday separately, we felt that people were taking huge financial risks. In addition, by booking online, there was a significant lack of knowledge, guidance and support that would normally have been provided by local travel agents and could result in errors or problems overseas. Not to mention the sheer volume of travel and holiday options available which could easily swamp the most capable of people.
And so eShores was born, based on the principle of easing and preventing these issues whilst at the same time offering the cost benefits and simplicity of booking online, bringing together the best of what high street agents and online companies had to offer.

If your outbound flight is cancelled weāll find you an alternative flight, but if thatās not possible we will give you a full refund for your whole packageā¦ yes weāll refund you for all your flights, hotels, transfers, trains, car hire and excursions. Likewise if for political reasons or natural causes the foreign office are advising against travel and itās not possible to travel on the holiday, we can offer you an alternative holiday or a complete refund. These situations are unpleasant enough, so we want to make it as simple and easy for you as possible.
Weāll be there to support you whilst youāre abroad, so if any internal flights or trains are cancelled weāll be there to ensure you can carry on your journey as smoothly as possible. If your hotel has closed unexpectedly, weāll find you an alternative and if due to natural or political reasons your itinerary has to change, weāll take care of it. Also if you flight home is cancelled weāll ensure we get you home as quickly as possible and take care of you whilst youāre away. So from the minute you book to the minute you get home, you have nothing to worry about.Ā
