✈️ UK – Athens (3 nights): Athens is the perfect starting point for your trip, where you’ll stay for 3 nights with time to explore some of the most iconic landmarks of ancient Greece, including the Acropolis, the Parthenon, and the Temple of Olympian Zeus. Beyond the history, Athens also boasts a vibrant and modern vibe with a lively feel and an excellent restaurant and café scene. If you want to escape the city for a few hours, take a short trip to the idyllic beaches of the Athenian Riviera where you’ll discover some wonderful seafood restaurants, a stunning stretch of coastline and several marinas.
🚢 Athens – Spetses (4 nights): Following your visit to Athens, you’ll take a short ferry ride to the first of the Saronic islands on your itinerary: the picturesque island of Spetses, where you’ll spend four nights. Spetses has a distinctly upmarket feel with its impressive mansions, yacht marina and sophisticated restaurants. The island also boasts stunning beaches where you’ll have the opportunity to relax and bask in the Mediterranean sunshine, including Agia Paraskevi, Kaiki Beach, and Vrellos Beach. Enjoy a peaceful stroll through the narrow streets, exploring the local boutiques and savouring mouth-watering Greek cuisine, such as the local meze dishes, accompanied by the traditional ouzo drink.
🚢 Spetses – Hydra (3 nights): Your next stop is the serene island of Hydra, which can be reached via a short ferry ride from Spetses. Like Spetses, Hydra also has an upscale vibe and it’s a car free island giving it a peaceful feel. Renowned for its rugged terrain and walking trails. Visitors can climb to the island’s highest peak, Mount Eros, to enjoy panoramic views of the Saronic Gulf and its neighbouring islands. The charming town of Hydra is a delight to explore, with its narrow cobblestone streets winding their way through traditional houses, small shops, and restaurants. Another popular activity here is diving and there are many interesting reefs and caves to explore around off the island’s coastline.
🚢 Hydra – Aegina (4 nights): After another short ferry ride, you’ll arrive in Aegina. The island is famous for its agriculture, particularly its pistachio groves. The island is more laid back and a little less upscale than its island neighbours, but no less stunning. Aegina boasts a variety of beautiful beaches, ranging from small, secluded coves to long stretches of sandy shoreline. Some of the island’s most popular beaches include Agia Marina, Souvala, Marathonas, and Perdika where you’ll find beautiful beaches and delicious seaside taverns.
✈️ Aegina – Athens – UK: As your holiday in Greece comes to a close, it’s time to say goodbye to the beautiful Saronic islands and start your journey back home. You will get a ferry back to Athens where you’ll then board your return flight back to the UK.
