✈️ UK – Delhi (3 nights): Your Golden Triangle adventure begins with a warm welcome from our representative at the airport in Delhi. They’ll escort you to your hotel, allowing you to unwind before diving into the captivating wonders of India’s capital. During your three-night stay, a guided tour awaits you. Your guide will lead you through the charms of Old Delhi, showcasing architectural marvels including Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India and considered an architectural masterpiece. You’ll also experience the vibrant life of Chandni Chowk market on a rickshaw ride, weaving through its narrow lanes filled with spice-laden shops before heading to the historic Red Fort and Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. In the afternoon, your exploration shifts to New Delhi. Your tour guide will begin with a brief stop at India Gate before travelling to the Presidential building, and visiting intriguing Bangla Sahib Sikh temple, renowned for its huge community kitchen. You’ll continue onto the 16th Century Humayun’s Tomb, a precursor to the Taj Mahal, before concluding your tour with a visit to the Qutab Minar.
🚗 Delhi – Agra (1 night): After a hearty breakfast, you’ll be collected from your hotel and driven to Agra. In the afternoon, you’ll have the chance to explore the wonders of Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was constructed in the 11th century and showcases impressive architecture, featuring red sandstone walls and the lavish palaces of the Moghul Empire. Later, as the sun sets, you’ll be whisked off to the Taj Mahal which, aside from being an architectural marvel, represents one of the greatest love stories ever told. Commissioned by Mughal emperor Shahjehan, it stands as a tribute to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.
🚗 Agra – Jaipur (2 nights): You’ll be picked up in the morning and taken by private transfer to Jaipur, stopping en route at Fatehpur Sikri, a ghost city built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, but abandoned 14 years later due to a failed water supply. The following morning, you’ll head out on a morning excursion to the magnificent Rajasthani Fort Palace, Amber Fort, which is known for its beautiful time-ravaged walls and the famous Sheesh Mahal, a room adorned with intricate mirror work on its walls and ceilings that create a truly magical atmosphere. On your way to the Amber Fort, you’ll also get the chance for a quick photo stop at Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Winds). In the afternoon, you’ll visit Maharaja’s City Palace, which used to be the Royal residence and is now mostly a museum, although some parts are still used by the Royal family of Jaipur. One notable highlight is the armoury museum, which displays an impressive collection of weapons such as pistols, swords, rifles, and daggers. To conclude your excursion, you’ll visit Jantar Mantar, the world’s largest observatory.
✈️ Jaipur – Beach (8 nights): You’ll wrap up your extraordinary Golden Triangle tour with a leisurely transition to a beach resort destination of your choosing, whether it’s the vibrant beaches of Goa, the serene shores of Kovalam, or the tropical paradise of the Maldives. You can take this time to unwind on pristine white sandy beaches, allowing yourself a moment to reflect on the remarkable sights you’ve experienced in India.
✈️ Beach – UK: You’ll be transferred to the airport for your return journey back to the UK.
