Known for its year-round warmth, friendly locals and pastel-coloured Dutch architecture, Aruba blends European charm with Caribbean soul. Its capital, Oranjestad, is lined with boutique shops, markets and elegant restaurants, while the smaller villages and Roman Catholic chapels dotted across the island add character and history.
